Road to the new Bangalore International Airport.

Lot of work is going on in Bangalore to make the ride to the new international airport a smooth one. But most of the efforts are too little too late in my view and not very well thought out.
Majority of the work on the main approach road to the airport (Bellary road) is centred around making the road signal free (no stops at traffic junctions). But what the authorities have not anticipated is that when so much of traffic will start flowing non-stop there will be somewhere that the traffic will build up.
In my opinion the Kodigehalli Gate signal will become the choking point (infact it already has long pile ups).
As all other signals before it have become signal free the traffic inflow rate has increased significantly and this particular junction is bearing the brunt of traffic pile up.
The lesson for the authorities is to assess the impact of changes at such junctions and then make plans.
